PRAYERS OF APPROACH & THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen
ALL AGE TALK
ALL AGE SONG I am the way, the truth and the life
I am the way, the truth and the life
That’s what Jesus said.
I am the way, the truth and the life
That’s what Jesus said.
Without the way there is no going,
Without the truth there is no knowing,
Without the life there is no growing
I am the way, the truth and the life
That’s what Jesus said.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
We remain standing if we are able and pray together the words below.
Almighty God,
Your Word offers freedom from sin,
but we confess that we have not obeyed your Word.
We have harboured malice toward our enemies;
we have been deceitful in our relationships;
we have been insincere in our commitments;
through gossip, we have slandered
our family, friends and one another.
Forgive us our sins and lead us to genuine repentance.
Help us, your children, long for your life-giving Word
that we may grow into the joy of Your salvation
through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Please be seated
COMMUNION
…So with the company of heaven and earth we sing your praises…
All sing: (tune CH4 769)
Holy, holy, holy, my heart, my heart adores you!
My heart is glad to say the words ‘You are holy, Lord.’
…The gifts of God for us, God’s children.
Everyone who loves the Lord Jesus Christ is invited to share at His table. For those worshipping with us in the building, the bread and non-alcoholic wine will be distributed in the pews. Please take a piece and pass it on to your neighbour. The bread in the glass dishes is gluten-free. When you have received the bread and the wine, you are welcome to eat and drink prayerfully in your own time, giving thanks to God.
SHARING THE PEACE
HYMN CH4 512 To God be the glory
GOODBYE AILEEN
HYMN GWA 206 Fearfully, wonderfully made
1. You were known, known before birth,
woven deep, deep in the earth.
You were formed from stardust, sing praise!
You are fearfully, wonderfully made.
Yes, you are fearfully, wonderfully made.
2. You belong, you are redeemed.
Loved by God, God is well pleased.
Now embrace what God has ordained:
you are fearfully, wonderfully made.
Yes, you are fearfully, wonderfully made.
3. When you walk, walk through the flame.
God is there, calling your name.
God has said, ‘Do not be afraid.
You are fearfully, wonderfully made.
Yes, you are fearfully, wonderfully made.
BENEDICTION We remain standing, if we are able, for the blessing.

Welcome to worship in Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church. Whether you join in person or online, come every week, are here for the first time or the first time in a long time, a very warm welcome.
This service is live-streamed. Should you not wish to appear in the recording, please speak to our welcome team.
You’ll find tea, coffee, juice, ready for you after the service in the Church Centre. We’d love for you to stick around for a cup of something warm and a good chat.
Today we celebrate Communion together. All are welcome at the Lord’s table, whether this is your first time with us or you’ve been coming for years. In the building, the wine is non-alcoholic, and gluten-free bread is available in the small glass ramekins. Whether you choose to take communion or not, please pass the elements along to your neighbour. For those joining us from home, you are warmly welcome to participate too. Have your own bread and wine or juice ready, and we will share in this together across the distance.
Have You Noticed the Lanyards? You may have spotted some people around wearing lanyards. Anyone who is helping or mentioned in the notices will be wearing one, making them easy to find. If you have any questions, please ask anyone wearing a lanyard, and they will be happy to point you in the right direction.
WHAT’S ON TODAY
Sunday School is back for all primary school age children! You’re welcome to sit with your friends at the front, or with your family further back. After our all-age song, we’d love you to join us over in the Centre for Bible teaching, craft and fun!
The Creche is open from the start of the service and can be used at any point during the service, please ask at the door for more information.

NOTICES
Digital Ministry Survey. To help us create a digital space that everyone can benefit from, we have listed a few questions in a survey and ask you to take a few minutes and fill this in. This will help shape our path together as a congregation. To date, we have only had 18 responses to this survey. The link will remain open until Wednesday, 6th May at 23:00, when it will close. It is really important that we hear from as many of you as possible. Your responses will help us shape the future of the congregation.
Either scan the QR code or type in the URL into your internet browser. Thank you. URL – bit.ly/4tbyj8I
Please note that the office will not be staffed for the time being. Phones and emails will continue to be monitored and answered remotely when possible. Please be patient; if any printing is required, a minimum of 1 week’s notice is required. For any queries, please contact Revd. Iain.
The West Halls are now closed for planned renovations. During this time, both our West Blend and Sunday evening services will be on a break until the halls reopen. We look forward to welcoming you back to both when the work is complete, and we will keep you updated on progress along the way.

Gift Aid, making Your Giving Go Even Further
Did you know you can boost your donation at no extra cost to you? When using the contactless giving machine, simply select the Gift Aid option. If you’re a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you give, the church receives an additional 25p, at no cost to you whatsoever. It’s a simple way to make your generosity go even further.
*Help Us Fill the Food Larder !*
Next time you’re out shopping, why not grab an extra item or two? You can drop off your donations in the trolley anytime outside the Chapterhouse Café. This will help stock out shelves at both our buildings to support our community.
