Welcome to worship in Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church. Whether you join in person or online, come every week, are here for the first time or the first time in a long time, a very warm welcome.
Join us tonight and every Sunday evening in our West Halls at 5pm for a contemporary service with tea, coffee, juice and biscuits before the service.
This service is live-streamed. Should you not wish to appear in the recording, please speak to our welcome team.
You’ll find tea, coffee, juice, and biscuits ready for you after the service in the Church Centre. We’d love for you to stick around for a cup of something warm and a good chat.

WHAT’S ON TODAY
The Creche is open from the start of the service and can be used at any point during the service, please ask at the door for more information.
Sunday School is on for any Primary School-aged children. We leave after the all age song and all children are welcome to join in.
Evening worship at 5pm in the West Halls tonight as we explore the theme together of Christ the King until Advent.
Travelling Nativity: Hosts who have signed up will start today, 1st Sunday in Advent. Mary, Josephand their donkey will be journeying from lodging place to lodging place around the parish during Advent. Join in hosting them and taking some time out to think about the coming of the Christ-child. Speak to Aileen the student for information. Aileen will be looking for individuals and families to sign up to host the holy family during advent. They could also be taken to care homes, nurseries and youth organisations. Full instructions will be provided.
WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK
West Blend Café every Tuesday at 10am in our West Halls, we would love to see you.
Bothwell Memory Café will meet on Tuesday 2nd December in our Bothwell Centre for those living with dementia. The weekly activities include art, musical entertainment, fun quizzes, and baking. The café is open from 12:30 to 14:15, offering tea, coffee, a light lunch, and homemade baking.
Allovus next meets on Thursday 4th December with Guest, Jean Hamilton on Flower arranging.
Blue Christmas Service will be held in the Church on Saturday 6th December at 11am. This service is in memory of all your loved ones who are no longer with you this Christmas. All are welcome.
Guild: Members are reminded that the Guild Christmas Party will take place in the Chapterhouse at 7.15 on Monday 8th December.
Hog Roast: Sunday 14th December at 5pm, today is the final day for names to be taken for those wishing to attend, as numbers have to be finalised this afternoon!! please speak to Anne Laird. Due to price increase, donation, if affordable will be £13 – £15.
Nine Lessons & Carols will be held in the Church on Sunday 14th at 7pm.
Allovus Christmas Lunch on Thursday 18th December with Guest Entertainer, Maggie D, tickets are now available from Heather Duddy.
Bothwell Philharmonic Choir present ‘Christmas Joy’ on Friday 19th December at 7pm in Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church, tickets £12.00 or pay at the door.

OTHER NOTICES
Bellshill and Bothwell Flower Team warmly invites you to sponsor a Sunday in memory of your loved ones. Starting from January 1st, 2026, we’ll begin with a new list for both locations. If you’d like to sponsor a Sunday in memory of your loved one, please reach out to Sandra in the office.
If you would like a note in the notices on a Sunday that the flowers are donated in memory of someone, please tell us. There’s no fixed donation amount; simply give what you wish. Some of the flowers from the morning service will be used in the evening before going out into the community.
We are seeking donations of fun-size chocolate bars and sweets to create treat parcels for children at Bellshill and Bothwell Nurseries, as well as for those attending Messy Church in December. If you can help, please give your donations to Steven Foye, Helen McGregor, any youth team member, or the office. Thank you for your support.
KNITTING patterns for all sizes of hats or baby jackets for Christmas can be found in a box at the front door. Distribution on completion of very small hats to premature baby unit, small/medium hats to Blythswood Care to go abroad and large hats for the homeless or an appropriate Charity. Please speak to Martha if you need any assistance.
Agnes Graham will be selling handmade jewellery for church funds after worship on Sunday. I have already raised £135.00 from the Westblend coffee morning last week and I will be there again on Tuesday.
Permission was granted by Revd. Iain some weeks ago.
