SERMON What does Mission look like?
Over five Sundays, we are asking what mission actually means and what it is.
PAUSE FOR REFLECTION
We pause to pray in silence and spend time with God while we listen to the music.
OFFERING DEDICATION However we give, whether by standing order, by cash at the door, or electronically via the QR code or contactless machine, we offer it all to God.
We walk by faith, we live by faith, we give by faith.
All: God of great gifts,
you have given us so much,
accept these gifts from our hands,
our faithful response to your abundant grace. Amen.

Welcome to worship in Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church. Whether you join in the building or online, come every week, are here for the first time or the first time in a long time, a very warm welcome. A very special welcome to little Sophia and all of her family and friends who are here to celebrate her baptism today with us.
This service is live-streamed. Should you not wish to appear in the recording, please speak to our welcome team.
You’ll find tea, coffee, juice, ready for you after the service in the Church Centre. We’d love for you to stick around for a cup of something warm and a good chat.
Have You Noticed the Lanyards? You may have spotted some people around wearing lanyards. Anyone who is helping or mentioned in the notices will be wearing one, making them easy to find. If you have any questions, please ask anyone wearing a lanyard, and they will be happy to help.
WHAT’S ON TODAY
The Creche is open from the start of the service and can be used at any point during the service. Please ask at the door for more information.
Sunday School is on this morning! Any children of primary school age are warmly invited to leave with their leaders after the all-age hymn. They will be based in the Church Centre and can be collected there at the end of the service.
Children are welcome in worship. Bags of Joy for different ages are available by the entrance. Books for older children are on the table behind the AV desk, and there’s Duplo, magnets, cars and a soft play area by the sofas at the front. Please feel free to do whatever works for you and your family.
Music @3pm. Join us today at 3pm for a great free concert “Music for the soul.” Come and hear the sounds of the chello, piano, viola and clarinet. Donations this month are for Hope for Autism.
WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK
Westblend! Come along to the West Halls in Bellshill from 10:00am every Tuesday for coffee, tea, cakes, toast and great company.
Bothwell Memory Café: meets every Tuesday in our Bothwell Centre for those living with dementia from 12:30 to 14:15, offering tea, coffee, a light lunch, and homemade baking.
Wednesday Welcome Join us in our West Halls THIS Wednesday 11.00 am to 12 noon for worship. Come in for tea, coffee and a short service of well-loved hymns, prayer, a Bible reading and a brief reflection on the text.

CUPPA AND A QUESTION
Come along to the Manse, (4 Manse Avenue, Bothwell) for tea or coffee and the chance to ask anything you would like to about the life of our congregation. LOOKING AHEAD
The Boys’ Brigade are hosting morning coffee after the service on Sunday 20th September in aid of YoungMinds, the children and young people’s mental health charity. There will also be a raffle on the day, so please bring some cash along and support them.
