Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church is a gathered community from people in Bothwell, Bellshill and beyond. We meet in person and online to ensure that everyone is able to worship and be part of our community.
We are part of the Church of Scotland, and we hope and pray that our church is a place where all ages, all genders, all people and sexual orientations feel welcomed, seen and loved. We welcome those who have been part of a church community for many years and those taking their first steps in exploring faith. Whether you come with deep questions, quiet hopes, or simply curiosity, you will find a place among us.

At the heart of our lives is the worship of God. Each Sunday, we gather to hear Scripture, pray, sing, and be renewed by God’s grace. Our services combine the richness of tradition with a warm, accessible style, helping us anchor our lives in the good news of Christ.
In Bothwell on a Sunday we hold a fairly traditional service at 10:30 that lasts around an hour. During term time, children’s clubs are available, and children are free to go after the all age song.
In our West Halls on a Sunday we meet at 5pm for a Café-style church, with tea and coffee available to take to your table. This is a more contemporary service that lasts about 40 minutes. There is a mix of live music and music videos to sing a long to.
We believe that faith is lived out together. We strive to be a church marked by kindness, hospitality, and a genuine desire to care for one another. From pastoral support to practical help, we hope to reflect the love of Jesus in everything we do.
Our calling extends beyond our walls. We seek to serve the people of Bellshill and Bothwell as we reach out and get involved in all aspects of community life, and partnerships with local groups and organisations. We long to see our parish flourish and to play our part in building a place of hope and belonging.
We are a church that believes there is always space for one more no matter who they are and no matter how busy we may be.
