ORGAN PRELUDE
WORDS OF WELCOME AND NOTICES
CALL TO WORSHIP
We gather on the mountaintop with Jesus, wondering what we will encounter.
All: We come to encounter God’s glory revealed.
We witness the revelation of Christ’s divinity made plain before us.
All: We come to witness God’s glory revealed.
We remember that God’s glory is not about spectacle but truth, not about show but about Love made real among us.
All: We come to remember God’s glory revealed.
We follow Jesus down from the mountaintop into the valleys, as God’s glory goes before us and behind us.
All: We come to be sent out to share God’s glory revealed.
HYMN CH4 189 Be still
PRAYERS OF APPROACH & THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever. Amen
ALL AGE TALK
ALL AGE SONG
1. Lord, the light of Your love is shining,
in the midst of the darkness, shining:
Jesus, Light of the world, shine upon us;
set us free by the truth You now bring us –
shine on me, shine on me.
Shine, Jesus, shine,
fill this land with the Father’s glory;
blaze, Spirit, blaze,
set our hearts on fire.
Flow, river, flow,
flood the nations with grace and mercy;
send forth Your word, Lord,
and let there be light!
2. Lord, I come to Your awesome presence,
from the shadows into Your radiance;
by Your blood I may enter Your brightness:
search me, try me, consume all my darkness –
shine on me, shine on me.
Shine, Jesus, shine . . .
3. As we gaze on Your kingly brightness
so our faces display Your likeness,
ever changing from glory to glory:
mirrored here, may our lives tell Your story –
shine on me, shine on me.
Shine, Jesus, shine . . .

Welcome to worship in Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church. Whether you join in person or online, come every week, are here for the first time or the first time in a long time, a very warm welcome.
Join us tonight and every Sunday evening in our West Halls at 5pm for a contemporary service with tea, coffee, juice and biscuits before the service. Tonight, we explore the theme of God in Weakness as we look to 2 Corinthians 12:7–10.
This service is live-streamed. Should you not wish to appear in the recording, please speak to our welcome team.
You’ll find tea, coffee, juice, and biscuits ready for you after the service in the Church Centre. We’d love for you to stick around for a cup of something warm and a good chat.
