Our Posada journey is now underway! Mary and Joseph set off on Sunday 30th November and are already travelling around the parish, spending each evening in a different home as we move closer to Christmas.
This simple tradition carries a powerful message. As Mary and Joseph move from household to household, we’re reminded of the real Holy Family who relied on the hospitality of others on their way to Bethlehem. Each home that welcomes them offers a moment to pause, reflect, and make space for Christ in the midst of a busy season.
We would love to ensure that Mary and Joseph have somewhere to stay every night right up to Christmas Eve. If you haven’t yet taken part — or if you’d like to host them again — there are still a few nights available.
Hosting is very simple: you welcome the figures into your home for one evening, perhaps take a photo, say a short prayer, read a verse, or enjoy a quiet moment of reflection. It can be as simple or as creative as you choose.
