Welcome to worship in Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church. Whether you join in the building or online, come every week, are here for the first time or the first time in a long time, a very warm welcome.
This service is live-streamed. Should you not wish to appear in the recording, please speak to our welcome team.
You’ll find tea, coffee, juice, ready for you after the service in the Church Centre. We’d love for you to stick around for a cup of something warm and a good chat.
Have You Noticed the Lanyards? You may have spotted some people around wearing lanyards. Anyone who is helping or mentioned in the notices will be wearing one, making them easy to find. If you have any questions, please ask anyone wearing a lanyard, and they will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Your Feedback Matters
In recent months our congregation has seen much change: a growing ministry team, new seating arrangements on Sunday mornings, and the reopening of our West Halls. With so much happening at once, we want to hear how these changes are being felt, not only the seating but the wider life of the church. Change, even good change, can feel unsettling, and we want to hear that too. We ask that all feedback be offered constructively, with a view to building up, and with the whole body of the church in mind rather than personal preference alone.
Only a small number of responses have come in so far, and we would really value hearing from you. The more voices we have, the better the picture we will have of where we are and where God may be leading us. The survey closes TODAY at 11 pm.
Please complete the form online if possible, using the QR code or the link below. Every paper response has to be typed up by hand, so completing it online saves a great deal of work. A limited number of printed copies are available at the back for those who cannot manage online, and if you would like a hand with the online version, please do ask: someone will gladly sit with you and go through it.
Paper copies must be handed back no later that during tea and coffee today, to allow us to fill them in online.
WHAT’S ON TODAY
The Creche is open from the start of the service and can be used at any point during the service. Please ask at the door for more information.
Sunday School is on this morning! Any children of primary school age are warmly invited to leave with their leaders after the all-age hymn. They will be based in the Church Centre and can be collected there at the end of the service.

Bothwell Memory Café: meets every Tuesdayin our Bothwell Centre for those living with dementia from 12:30 to 14:15, offering tea, coffee, a light lunch, and homemade baking.
MIDWEEK WORSHIP
Join us in our West Halls on the first and third Wednesday of each month, 11.00 am to 12 noon for Wednesday Welcome. Come in for tea, coffee and a short service of well-loved hymns, prayer, a Bible reading and a brief reflection on the text. All are welcome, and we would love to see you there.

THE STAINED GLASS BOOK LAUNCH
Friday 4 September 2026, 6.30pm, in Bothwell Church
We are delighted to announce the launch of a new illustrated guide to the stained glass of our church in Bothwell, produced and generously gifted to the congregation by architectural photographer Colin McLean.Colin will join us on the evening to say a few words about the collection, and refreshments will be served. All are warmly welcome, and please do bring friends and neighbours.
The booklet will be available from the church starting next Sunday for £5.00, with all proceeds supporting the life and mission of the congregation.
