Prayers for our schools
As we pray for our schools, will you sign up to continue the prayer?
How many schools are there in Lanarkshire? The answer is… over 300! Thousands of children are in school across Lanarkshire each day of the year. As Christians, we want to bless our schools by praying for them – asking God’s favour upon them and all who work and attend them.
Children and young people spend the majority of their waking hours in school – far more than in church or at home. We know schools have a huge impact on their attitudes, ideas and thinking: about themselves, the world, and God. Some are thriving and flourishing. Others are struggling, battling against poverty and additional support needs. Each one is made in the image of God. They are the adults of tomorrow. Will you pray for them?

Welcome to worship in Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church. Whether you join in person or online, come every week, are here for the first time or the first time in a long time, a very warm welcome.

You’ll find tea, coffee, juice, ready for you after the service in the Church Centre. We’d love for you to stick around for a cup of something warm and a good chat.

NOTICES
Allovus started back with a very interesting talk about Bothwell from Michael Small. The next meeting is a sale and games day on 20th August, everyone is welcome to Allovus which is on 1st and the 3rd Thursday of each month.
Your Feedback Matters
In recent months our congregation has seen much change: a growing ministry team, new seating arrangements on Sunday mornings, and the reopening of our West Halls. With so much happening at once, we want to hear how these changes are being felt, not only the seating but the wider life of the church. Change, even good change, can feel unsettling, and we want to hear that too. We ask that all feedback be offered constructively, with a view to building up, and with the whole body of the church in mind rather than personal preference alone.
Only a small number of responses have come in so far, and we would really value hearing from you. The more voices we have, the better the picture we will have of where we are and where God may be leading us. The survey closes on Sunday 23 August at 11pm.
Please complete the form online where you can, using the QR code or the link below. Every paper response has to be typed up by hand, so completing it online saves a great deal of work. A limited number of printed copies are available at the back for those who cannot manage online, and if you would like a hand with the online version, please do ask: someone will gladly sit with you and go through it.
Paper copies must be handed back during worship on Sunday, 23 August, to allow us to fill them in online.
