At Bellshill and Bothwell Parish Church, we gather as a people shaped by the good news that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again for each and everyone of us. We stand firmly on the foundation of Scripture as God’s living and authoritative Word in the knowledge that it continues to speak truth, hope, and challenge to our world today.
We take to heart the call of Romans 13:8:
“Owe no-one anything except to love one another.”
Love is not simply an ideal, it is our ongoing responsibility, our daily calling, and the mark by which we want to be known. Christ’s love motivates our worship, shapes our relationships, and directs our lives.
Worship the lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind. (Matt 22:37)
Grow as Disciples as we commit ourselves to lifelong spiritual growth. Through learning, fellowship, questioning, and shared experiences.
Serve with Compassion. We follow Christ into the world serving others with generosity and humility. We welcome the stranger, support those in need, advocate for justice, and seek the flourishing of our whole community. We believe every act of kindness reflects something of God’s kingdom.
Proclaim the Gospel. We share the good news of Jesus with confidence and grace, inviting others to explore faith, encounter God, and find belonging. Whether people come with deep convictions or hesitant curiosity, we walk alongside one another in love.
In all things we desire to be a church where every person matters, where stories are honoured, friendships grow, and burdens are shared. In Bellshill and Bothwell, we aim to shine as a community of hope, hospitality, and joyful faith, believing that God’s kingdom begins with acts of love right where we are.
